34 YEARS OF GROWING AND DEVELOPMENT

        Water Electric Mechanic Business was established from the 100th Water and Electric Team – South Hanoi Architectural Company on November 15th 1975, also in this time, our country had just integrated and the planned economy had still remained. Director Truong Van Dong and all staffs of Business made a great effort to overcome every obstacle. The output was increasingly growing with the average growth rate of 15 – 20% annually, production safety and construction quality were ensured. There were many famous constructions in this time: President Ho Chi Minh Tomb, Swedish Child Hospital, and Western Germany Fiber Manufactory…These constructions also contributed to the post-war national recovery process. The Business staffs’ attempt was recognized and rewarded the 3rd Class Labor Badge by State following the Order No. 120/LCT issued on August 28th 1979 signed by President Ton Duc Thang.

        In the early of 1980s, Business paced up with requirements of new era, the era of transformation from the planning economy to the market economy. In this time, Business had built many meaningful constructions not only on the economic side but also on the diplomacy side such as: Ho Chi Minh Museum, USSR Economic Counselor, USSR Multi-sector Technology and Economy, Indochina Radio Station…State rewarded 2nd Class Labor Badge following the Decision No. 777/KT/HDNN issued on November 16th 1985 signed by President of State Council Truong Chinh. Also in 1985, the 3rd Water Electric Team – a sub-unit of Water Electric Business was rewarded 3rd Class labor Badge for the excellence performance in production and business, contributed to the socialism development and national protection. Director Pham Van Niem was the leader of Company at this time.

        On October 1992, Ministry of Construction decided to merge 2 Business: Water Electric Mechanic Business and Housing Construction and Development became the Water Electric Mechanic Installation and Construction Company. This mergence had met the demand of national economic reform. In this duration, Company was rewarded the 1st Class Labor Badge following the Decision No. 04/KT/CT issued on January 5th 1999 signed by President Tran Duc Luong. Director Phan Viet Ho, the man who was reward the 3rd Class Labor Badge by Vice President Nguyen Thi Binh under the Decision 359/KT- CTN issued on July 23rd 1998, and 223 staffs overcame all obstacles at the beginning of Company, with the total legislative capital of VND 267 million. In 1998, the capital gained over VND 4 billion. Since 1997, Company has been classified as the 1st Class Enterprise by Ministry of Construction.

        In 2000, Water Electric Mechanic Installation and Construction Company is the first company made a courage step toward to a new enterprise pattern – Joint Stock Company. Those succeed taken from the transformation was the basis for implementation of Joint Stock Company: self-control and self- management. The outstanding construction of the new era including: Xuan Hoa new urban project – Phuc Yen commune – Vinh Phuc province; Phuoc An – Long Tho residential zone – Nhon Trach ward – Dong Nai province, Nhan Chinh high building, plot D5 Cau Giay district, Vuon Dao…Nghi Son Cement plant, Tan Hoa – Lo Gom Drainage System (TH4)...

        So far, Company scale and organization structure increasingly development. In 1990, the total staffs are over 200 people. Up to now, the number has increase 800 people correlative with the rise of construction. Turnover gains over VND 500 billion. Director Vu Hoang Minh was rewarded National Emulation Fighter in 2005 and the 3rd Class Labor Badge following the Decision No. 935/2005/QD/CTN issued on August 25th 2005 signed by Vice president Truong My Hoa. The whole staffs of Company was rewarded the 3rd Class Independence Badge by President Tran Duc Luong on November 22nd 2005 for the excellence performance on work, contributed to the socialist development and national protection

        Over 34 years of development, in which 10 year operation under the equitizational enterprise pattern, Company achieved a lot of Certificates of Merit, Paper of merit as well as personal and collective Badges. Water Electric Mechanic Installation and Construction believes that we will have an outstanding development in the future.
