On November 15th, 1975, the Water Electrical Installation Enterprise was founded based on the Southern Ha Noi Architecture Company’s the 100 Electric team in the context of newly unified country and heavy subsidy mechanism. The leader-Director Truong Van Dong steered through the difficulties with the entire enterprise staff. Year-on-year output value had consecutively increased 15-20 percent. All projects were absolutely completed and put into use with safety and quality. The memorable works of this stage were Ho Chi Minh President Mausoleum, Sweden Children Hospital, West- Germany Fiber Plant… These structures contributed to the post war reconstruction of the country. Those efforts of the Water Electrical Mechanical Enterprise staff and workers were regcornised by the 3rd class labour medal signed by Ton Duc Thang president according to the decree No.120/LCT on August 28, 1979.
In the early 1980s, the enterprise reacted timely to the requirements of the new era when the economy transferred from economic subsidiary to market mechanism. Some significant structures constructed in this period were not only of business reason but also diplomatic significance such as: Ho Chi Minh President Mausoleum, XoViet Union counsellor building, XoViet Union economic technology multi-sectors zone, Viet-Xo Cultural friendship palace, Indochina Radio Station. In the same year, the Water Electric Enterprise’s the 3 Water Electric Team was honored the 3rdclass Labour Medal for outstanding achievements in the socialism building process and the national protection. The Engineer-Director Pham Van Niem led the enterprise in this stage.
In October 1992, the Ministry of Construction decided to merger the Water Electric Enterprise and the Housing Development Enterprise, in which the Water Electric Enterprise is the key factor, into Water Electric Mechanical Installation Company. This merger met the necessities of the country economic renovation. On January 5th 1999, the company was awarded the 1st grade Labour Medal signed by Tran Duc Luong president according to the decision No.04/KT/CT. The Engineer-Director Phan Viet Ho, honoured with the 3rd grade Labour Order signed by Nguyen Thi Binh vice president consistent with the decision 359/KT-CTN on July 23th 1998, overcame difficulties in all kinds with more than 223 company staff. The company’s legal capital has increased from 267 million VND to over 4 billion VND in 1998. It has been always classified as the 1st class enterprise by the Ministry of Construction since 1997
In the year 2000, the Water Electrical Mechanical Installation and Construction Company courageously transformed the company’s model into a joint stock company. The new management model consequenly helps general director, chairman Vu Hoang Minh establishing an autonomy, self-governing, self-operating company.The typical works of this period are the new urban area project at Xuan Hoa commune-Phuc Yen - Vinh Phuc province, the Phuoc An-Long Tho residential area in Nhon Trach ward-Dong Nai province, Nhan Chinh multi-storey buildings, Apartment plot D5-Cau Giay, Vuon Dao building-Phu Thuong commune-Tay Ho district,…Nghi Son cement factory…
Since its foundation the company’s operating scale and organized structure have more and more powerf. Along with the increasing number of projects, the labour force has today increased to nearly 800 contracted employees, compared to that of only 200 in the 1990s. The revenue reached more than 1000 billion VND. The Engineer-Director Vu Hoang Minh was honored the title of “Chiến sỹ thi đua” in 2005 and the 3rd class Labour Medal signed by the vice president Truong My Hoa in accordance with the decree No. 936/2005/QĐ/CTN on August 25, 2005. The 3rd class Independence Medal signed by the president Tran Duc Luong on November 22, 2005 was awarded to the whole company staff.
In the period of 2005-2009, the company developed stably and sustainingly. Many urban area projects, industrial zones, high apartment buildings have been implemented. The company especially invested to build a steel structure manufacturing factory for high buildings at Cao An commune-Cam Giang town-Hai Duong city and applied gradually new technologies into high buildings construction area. For the company’s excellent achievements, it was awarded the 1st class Independence Medal from the president of the Socialist Republic of Viet Nam issued according to the decree No. 558/QĐ-CTN on May 4, 2010 and the chairman-general director Vu Hoang Minh was awarded the 2nd class labor Medal from the vice president of the Sociallist Republic of Viet Nam signed thanks to the decree No.604/QĐ-CTN on May 12, 2010.
Over the last 35 years of developing with initial difficulties and 10 years of operating under the model of joinst stock enterprise. Every development period of the company was marked by merit, certificate of merit, and medals for entire team and well done individuals.
